10 SPOTS TO CHECK OUT IN IBIZA & FORMENTERA FOR SUMMER 2021
Our favourite islands at Soleil are the hot spots this summer, and we have curated a selection of 10 places you must visit if you are lucky to hit the Balearic Islands this summer 2021 (and don't forget to take your Soleil bag with you!) We've also added two new places that have just opened in time for summer holidays.
1. OKU HOTEL
Situated in Cala Gració, the new OKU hotel opened it's doors end of May. It has one of the biggest pools in the island, two restaurants, a bar and a juice bar. They offer Yoga, have a beautiful spa and a resident DJ for sunset drinks.
2. HACIENDA NA XAMENA
You've probably seen this one all over Instagram. Suspended above the Mediterranean Sea and located in San Miguel, the hotel and spa is located in a beautifully preserved natural park. Enjoy their food at their Edén Restaurant or have a dip in their stunning pool! (The pool and terraces are for guests only.)
3. ATZARÓ AGROTURISMO:
Our personal favourite. With their concept of nature luxury and a vegetable garden, Atzaró hotel has two restaurants, three bars and a spa. It is surrounded by gardens and located in Santa Eulalia. A piece of zen in the island.
4. EL CHIRINGUITO
If you're looking for good Mediterranean food and a day in the sun, this is the place. They also have a lounge zone for drinks and juices. Make sure to book in advance because it's mostly always fully booked.
5. NOBU IBIZA BAY
Luxury accommodation, two fine dining restaurants, a laidback chiringuito, a healthy café and a pool deck. Located in Talamanca Bay and a short walk to Ibiza old town and Marina Botafoch.
6. EXPERIMENTAL BEACH:
Another favourite to watch the sunset and have good food at Cap D'es Falco. It is both a restaurant and beach club and the perfect spot to enjoy music, drinks and views.
7. CASA PACHA
Located on the beachfront of Es Arenals, Casa Pacha is a new stay and dine concept in the paradisiacal island of Formentera. A place to enjoy good music while having dinner overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
8. ES MOLI DE SAL
Probably the most emblematic restaurant of the island - an old mill refurbished into a restaurant. Amazing Mediterranean food located in Illetas. Don't forget to try the Paella and stay for sunset drinks.
9. GECKO HOTEL & BEACH CLUB
This chic boutique hotel located in Mitjorn is ideal for a day in the sun and has both pool and beach hammocks and cabanas. They offer seaside Yoga and have a Mediterranean restaurant. Day passes available.
10. CAN CARLITOS
Amazing mediterranean food in Puerto de la Savina (this is where you take the ferry to go from and to Ibiza, Formentera doesn't have an airport). Really good tapas and Paella and once again, a stunning sunset.
